Welcome to our adoption pages. We were blessed with Emi back in June 2002 and it was very evident that God wanted her to live with us. We adopted Emi through Deaconess Home after some friends of ours called us to let us know that there were many babies due soon and not enough adoptive families available. We went through the Adoption Seminar in May 2002, met Emi's birthmom June 10th and Emi was born June 26th!! It was amazing and whirlwind and it changed our lives forever. We were in the room when Emi was born and Scott even cut her umbilical cord. We keep in touch with all of her biological family that would like to keep up with Emi and it has enriched our lives.
