April 2008: Emi
got a new bike this month! She outgrew her first bike
before she learned how to ride without training wheels. She
seemed a
bit nervous about the whole thing so we are trying things out in the
softer backyard. She's a big chicken for being such a big girl! But I
bet by
the time school's out she will be riding her bike without any
assistance. Also, last week she asked Daddy about Heaven and Hell and
she said she wanted to go to Heaven when she dies. She and Daddy prayed
for Jesus to come into her heart that afternoon! Amazing that she can
understand something so simple, but her 5 yr old mind isn't so clouded
by life yet. So proud of her!!! She also mastered snapping recently
too!!

decorated Daddy's cake with lots of soccer balls ...looks like she's
helping to blow the candles out...
