McCartney Michelle was born at the beginning of January and we are so blessed that she has joined our family.  Emi is a great big sister and helps wherever possible. She can feed baby Mickey as well as burp her like a pro. Mickey was 19 inches long and 7 lbs 3 oz at birth and she continues to chow down on the formula and sleeps like a baby. She is definitely chubbing up and giving us lots of joy and smiles.  She really perks up when she hears big sister talking....what a beautiful baby girl!

UPDATE: Mickey is now back with her birth mother.  While we were stunned and upset that she changed her mind about us adopting baby girl, we truly understand her desire to have McCartney in her life. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the baby and of course we miss her smiles and cuddles. We pray for the health, safety and happiness of all of Mickey's family and they are in our thoughts often.
